Mobile Notary (General Notary Work)

The core service. A commissioned notary comes to you — your home, your office, a coffee shop, a hotel lobby — and notarizes the document you bring. Most appointments take 15 to 30 minutes. You pay at the appointment, and the notary leaves with the document signed, sealed, and ready to file.

Common documents include powers of attorney, affidavits, sworn statements, parental consent forms, vehicle title transfers, business contracts, lien releases, and consent-to-travel forms for minors. If a document has a notarial certificate at the bottom — a block that says "State of ___, County of ___, on this day personally appeared..." — it's a general notary work job.

Pricing: Notarial fees follow your state's schedule (see our 2026 fee reference), plus a travel fee based on distance and time of day. Turnaround: Often same-day. Many appointments scheduled within hours.

Real Estate & Loan Signings

For real estate transactions — purchases, refinances, HELOCs, reverse mortgages — our certified Notary Signing Agents handle the full package. We print the documents, drive to the borrower, walk through the signing, and ship the completed package back to the title company.

These are different animals from general notary work: longer appointments, larger document sets, specific signing-agent training, and tighter requirements from title companies and lenders. The notaries we dispatch for these jobs are vetted for signing agent experience and the specific document types involved.

Best for: Title companies, mortgage brokers, real estate attorneys, and individual borrowers closing remotely. Turnaround: Scheduled in advance — typically 24 to 72 hours out, with rush availability on most packages.

Apostille Services

An apostille is a certification that authenticates a U.S. document for use in a country that's part of the Hague Apostille Convention. Adoption papers going to South Korea, marriage certificates needed in Italy, business documents for a deal in Brazil — all of these typically require an apostille from the Secretary of State (or, for federal documents, the U.S. Department of State).

We handle the full process. You send us the document. We notarize where needed, submit to the issuing authority, and return the apostilled document by tracked mail. For time-sensitive documents — visa applications, international adoptions, overseas closings — we offer rush processing.

Common documents: Birth certificates, marriage certificates, diplomas and transcripts, FBI background checks, powers of attorney for foreign use, corporate documents, court orders. Turnaround: 5 to 15 business days standard, rush available for most states.

Hospital & Bedside Notarization

When a family member is hospitalized and a document needs to be signed — a power of attorney, an advance directive, a last will, a guardianship document — getting to a bank or shipping store is rarely an option. We dispatch notaries trained for hospital and bedside signings, including the additional steps required to confirm signer capacity and willingness in a clinical setting.

Our notaries are familiar with hospital protocols, can coordinate with nursing staff, and understand the heightened sensitivity around these signings. We move quickly — most hospital appointments are scheduled and completed the same day.

Common documents: Healthcare power of attorney, advance directives, last will and testament, durable power of attorney, deed and title transfers, beneficiary designations. Turnaround: Same-day, including evenings and weekends.

Jail & Detention Center Notarization

Inmates frequently need documents notarized — for family matters, legal proceedings, property transactions, or release planning. Jail and detention center signings are a specialized service with their own protocols: facility coordination, ID verification under restricted conditions, and document chain-of-custody requirements that vary by facility.

We work with families, attorneys, and inmates directly to schedule signings at county jails, state prisons, federal facilities, and immigration detention centers nationwide.

Common documents: Power of attorney, divorce filings, custody agreements, property transfers, business documents, immigration paperwork. Turnaround: Scheduled based on facility visiting and notary access policies — typically 1 to 5 business days.

Remote Online Notarization (RON)

For documents that don't require an in-person signing, RON lets you connect with a commissioned notary by video call and sign electronically. The entire process takes 10 to 20 minutes. You upload your document, verify your identity, meet the notary on camera, sign electronically, and download the notarized PDF — all from your phone or computer.

RON is legal in most states, but rules vary on which documents qualify and which states' notaries can perform it. We match your document and jurisdiction to a notary commissioned in the appropriate state.

Best for: Out-of-state signers, time-sensitive documents, after-hours needs, signers with mobility limitations. Turnaround: Often within the hour, including evenings. Note: Some documents — including most real estate closings in some states, and certain wills — still require in-person notarization. We'll let you know upfront if RON isn't an option for your document.

Witness Services

Many documents — particularly wills, trusts, and certain affidavits — require not just a notary but additional witnesses who are unrelated to the signer and have no interest in the document. We coordinate witnesses alongside the notary so everything happens in one appointment, at one location, with one fee.

Common scenarios: Last will and testament signings, trust execution, affidavits requiring sworn witnesses, healthcare directives in states with witness requirements. Turnaround: Scheduled alongside the notary appointment, typically same-day or next-day.
